The Baker and Taylor Project
Overview
The Baker and Taylor (B&T) Project aimed to enhance the existing Collect Application and develop a user-friendly Dashboard for improved operational oversight and compliance monitoring. This initiative was driven by the need to address user pain points and enable efficient data analysis and reporting capabilities for both administrators and other user personas. The project was implemented in two phases:
- Phase 1: Enhancements to the Collect Application
- Phase 2: Development of a comprehensive Dashboard
The project’s success was achieved through a collaborative approach, agile methodology, and the application of modern technologies.
Project Scope
Phase 1: Enhancement to the Collect Application
- Address identified customer pain points.
- Introduce new features and functionalities to improve user experience.
- Conduct research and discovery to refine the scope of work collaboratively.
- Deliver enhancements iteratively through six agile sprints.
Phase 2: Development of the Collect Dashboard
- Build tailored dashboards for B&T administrators and user personas.
- Implement advanced filtering capabilities, including drop-down, keyword-based searches, and multi-select filters.
- Provide both high-level overviews and detailed insights for compliance and operational monitoring.
