Integrating Context to Call is a low code process that can efficiently be executed by a person with basic knowledge about their website's backend and copy-pasting.
You start by setting up your account on www.app.contexttocall.com/account/sign-in, and once you're done, you can head to the left-hand bar, locate an option marked "Point Management," and click that.
Once you're through this step, you must "Add Point" by entering the requested details. Then verify contact information (phone number and email).
You've done all this so the application can generate an "embed code" to be pasted on your website.
Three codes will be generated, and two will be pasted inside the header of your designated page for which you've created the point.
And one needs to be placed on the same page, wherever you want the communication icons to appear.
Once you find and copy all the 03 integration codes, jump onto the next step.
Now, you must open the website's backend management portal, usually called C-panel or something similar.
Upon successfully logging into the panel, locate a file manager and open the Public_html directory of your website.
Find the webpage file for which you've created the point, and paste the copied snippet inside the page as guided before.
That's it; Context to Call is ready to be used by any potential user/consumer that might visit your website.
Anyone with an email address can use the complete application up to a limited usage cycle. After that, if you like the application, you can hop on a "Postpaid" plan by entering your credit card details.
The free plan, open to everyone, gives you a credit of 10 units, where 01 units can be defined as 01 minutes of received Call, 01 SMS, and 01 eMail.
If you're a free user, and once you've consumed your quota, your services for the month will completely stop; and will be renewed in the next month's cycle.
But if you're a paid user and you've consumed the accessible units, you'll instantly be bumped to the "Lite Plan", which generates a charge of only $5 for units consumed between the 11th unit to the 50th unit.
But if your consumption exceeds that, we'll bump you to the "Super Plan", wherein you'll be charged $0.1/unit for every unit consumed starting from the 51st unit.
Keep in mind that users who have been automatically bumped from "Lite" to the "Super" plan; would still have to pay the charge for the "Lite" plan since it's already consumed by then.
You'll receive a report at the end of every cycle, and the charges will be automatically deducted from your linked credit card.
Context to Call is a standalone application that can help efficiently navigate your consumer/users directly toward the designated representative via multiple communication modes such as Call, SMS, and eMail.
But the team is already working on two other applications, namely "Context to Call extension" and "Softphone"; which will be launched very soon.
Voice Over IP or VoIP has existed since 1995, but with the internet speeds we have today, it's more practical than ever.
To tell you how it works, the caller's voice data is first converted into a digital file and compressed, then sent to the VoIP provider.
Moving forward, the provider transmits the data worldwide to the receiving party in a digital file, which is converted at the node into voice data.
This voice data is what your receiver hears, which happens in real time since we can stuff millions of data packets and transmit them over the internet every millisecond.
Context to Call uses VoIP technology to generate calls over the internet using only your browser and internet connection.
