Analytical Support for Standardization of CLEP tools on common platforms, NYDOH

Overview

The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is responsible for public health. It is headed by Health Commissioner Howard A. Zucker, M.D., J.D., who was appointed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and confirmed by the State Senate on May 5, 2015. Its regulations are compiled in title 10 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations.

Project Scope

The DOH’s Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP) wanted to continue with the phased-in approach to modernizing and streamlining the legacy modules and workflows supporting their regulatory activities. The vendor was required to assist with the standardizing on common, ITS-accepted platforms and toolsets.

Solution

As a prime vendor, V Group was required to design and develop requirements, documents, and diagrams defining CLEP workflows in the CLEP applications. Our team has provided analytical support to the complete project delivery. Our deliverables included interviewing program area staff, review of business artifacts, reports, and procedures, creating requirement documents and diagrams defining these processes. As needed, we also aided with training and testing of developed applications based on the requirements.
