The Change and Configuration Management Unit required support in the Implementation of Service Now. This included performing discovery and service mapping, troubleshooting the error logs, and resolving issues related to the ServiceNow discovery and-service mapping processes. These were required to maintain data quality for configuration data management.
As a prime vendor, V Group has been supporting MTA’s ServiceNow implementation project by providing expert technical consulting services. The major focus of the service was to perform Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB Maintenance. The overall scope of the work included but not limited to maintain and update Discovery schedules in ServiceNow; Within ServiceNow, establish Business services and perform Service Mapping for those services. The deliverable scope includes a key component of troubleshooting errors found during ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping. V Group has also assisted MTA with modification of CMDB display screens within ServiceNow and helped in the tasks related to maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB in the MTA IT environment. V Group team also helped MTA with Access Control Lists and Business Rules relating to the ServiceNow CMDB.
