Connecticut State Department of Social Services (DSS) delivers and funds a wide range of programs and services as Connecticut’s multi-faceted health and human services agency. DSS serves about 1 million residents of all ages in all 169 Connecticut cities and towns.
Connecticut State Department of Social Services (DSS) required an RPA Development Consultancy Support for building, maintaining, and customizing an enterprise mobile app for DSS, in line with the project and company goals.
The objective of the project is to provide a continuous RPA Development Consultancy Support to work with the system integrators and DSS teams to understand the business and architectural setup of the DSS Enterprise applications, aligned with the client’s business goals.
V Group Inc. provided support in RPA Development tasks successfully. Primarily, we understood and captured the parameters, and the project was broken down into several components to ease the process of offering quality services. To start with, we worked closely with vendors and other teams for Robotics Process Automation development and maintenance of the mobile applications.
With a methodical approach, we helped the client in all aspects (requirements, user experience, design, test, release, support) of the development cycle for all phases. Created detailed documentation and mentored support staff keeping up with the new technologies and best practices. Worked in collaboration in a cross-functional team and agile development environment. Performed in-depth testing of the app with respect to application, security, and performance, and user experience.
Moving ahead, we also assisted in the development of information systems blueprints, design patterns, templates for software development and to ensure high levels of software reuse and the migration towards service-oriented architecture (SOA). Also, facilitated application design sessions, and developed general and detailed design specifications for moderate to complex systems. We also interacted with all the team members including business customers, DBA, software developers, design specialists, application developers, and management.
In addition, we also participated in regularly scheduled project status meetings. Prepared and submitted Weekly Status Reports to the DSS IT Manager and followed the Project Change Control Procedure. Resolved deviations from the estimated schedule and reviewed the monthly project status, acting on issues and actions. V Group’s support assisted in managing the scope as per the project requirement, as we kept on updating ourselves in line with the business requirements and project scope.
Served as a liaison between Agency and solution’s contract and helped the client in providing RPA Development, aligned with their business’ requirements reducing support overhead.
