OVERVIEW

Oakland County's Department of Information Technology (IT) is a service bureau that provides centralized IT services to 82 County divisions, more than 100 local governmental units (assessors, treasurers, law enforcement, etc.), over 50 private sector customers, and over 1,700 Access Oakland customers. It is responsible for over 150 major applications consisting of more than 8,000 programs and provides systems support, maintenance, enhancements, and new development for all major systems applications.

PROJECT SCOPE

Oakland County required a vendor that have ability to lead the technical design and implementation of application development and support projects.

SOLUTION

V Group Inc. served as the prime vendor for Oakland County, offering an array of services to support the county's technological infrastructure.

We designed and developed enterprise software, offering technical leadership throughout implementation. Additionally, V Group Inc. created complex data flow diagrams and provided input on the roadmap for future technology stack development. We also supported relational database design and development, leveraging expertise with SQL Server and Oracle. Finally, the company helped to architect the technology stack and requirements for web-based applications, ensuring that Oakland County's digital systems were secure, efficient, and effective.
