Overview
The New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) is the department of the New York state government responsible for public health. It is headed by Health Commissioner Howard A. Zucker, M.D., J.D., who was appointed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and confirmed by the State Senate on May 5, 2015. Its regulations are compiled in title 10 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations.
The New York State Department of Health is the Cabinet-level Department in the State of New York, which is the governmental body that bears the responsibility for ensuring public health in the State.
Project Scope
The State of New York: Department of Health required Domino Lotus Notes support to analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document and implement Lotus Notes application.
Solution
The objective of the project included Domino Lotus Notes Support to work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code used by the Lotus Notes application for a smooth flow of the project in line with the client’s business requirements.
V Group Inc. supported the client and understood the challenges that were present in the existing system. These challenges were reviewed by the team to overcome them ensuring smooth transitioning of the system.
In the first place, we provided support to design and code from requirements and functional specifications. Produced technical and user documentation, as and when they were needed. We also completed project deliverables within the stipulated time and provided application support.
Moving ahead, with a streamlined approach we facilitated the client in providing technical solutions for large scalable designs. Communicated effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel. Also, timely communication with programmatic units for translation of business requirements into technical specifications was done successfully. This was achieved via excellent team work, as we helped the client to co-ordinate the work in order by allowing them to interact with the other product teams and other stakeholders.
Served as a liaison between Agency and solution’s contract, V Group Inc. supported the client in Domino Lotus Notes migration successfully, keeping up to date with the latest know-hows and trends.
