Development and Implementation of Enterprise SharePoint solution, PennDOT
PennDOT oversees programs and policies affecting highways, urban and rural public transportation, airports, railroads, ports, and waterways. More than three-quarters of PennDOT's annual budget is invested in Pennsylvania's approximately 120,000 miles of state and local highways and 32,000 state and local bridges. PennDOT is directly responsible for nearly 40,000 miles of highway and roughly 25,400 bridges, a system first established in 1911.
The vendor was required to provide programmatic support and provide appropriate teams to help plan, develop, and implement an Enterprise SharePoint solution with our Project Team on the SharePoint 2010 environment. Specifically, the support will include MOSS/SharePoint design work, custom development, documentation, and best practices consulting. This support will also include close interactions with customers to identify and implement MOSS/SharePoint requirement.
V Group has provided programmatic support for the given requirement with a team of MCPD (Microsoft SharePoint Professional Developer) or MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) Certified professionals to perform root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues, Designs, develops, implements, documents, and tests changes to an application subsystem implement complex software application in SharePoint 2010 MOSS environment, this includes design reviews, systems planning, scheduling, collaboration with Department IT Project teams to ensure the timelines. The support also involved creating more complex prototypes and ensures deliverables are high quality and meet user expectations. V Group’s team has worked with the internal team of the customer to establishes, maintains, and ensures compliance with standards for development, testing, and documentation and provided the end-user training for the complex application usages.
