Solution

The objective of the project included critical Business Analysis support for developing systems requirements for the new DMV Application and verifying system performance as expected, in line with the business and client requirements. V Group Inc. supported the client in managing projects involving the use of a broad range of tools and techniques and communicating business process requirements to IT staff, program staff, and stakeholders to meet business needs for the project. Primarily, we developed test scenarios, scripts, and data and evaluated test results, adhering to organizational standards across the enterprise. With effective use of the resources, both people and technology, in the execution of the Department's mission, we helped the client to co-ordinate the work in order by allowing them to interact with the other product teams and other stakeholders.

Keeping track of the progress, we documented the changes for functional and business specifications by understanding procedures for permanent records and for use in training. Also, participated in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionalities, defining GGC templates and standards in order to document business rules and requirements. In this project, V Group has supported the client in managing teams performing testing activities, including UI, automation, integration testing, performance, and scalability testing. In addition, we developed Test cases per the Business Rules in order to direct DMV staff on testing requirements. Reviewed and provided guidance on the test scope and output of testers performing exploratory testing in development sprints. Also, helped in creating status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities, ensuring that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase for a bug-free application.

Going with the flow, we also prepared test protocols and reports in line with the regulatory requirements, during the final test cycle, streamlining the whole process. Assisted in quality assurance and support testing of new functionalities of the application, as and when needed. We also supported in identifying and re-forming and analyzing existing problems on priority and implementing solutions for closing Test Reports. Also, helped in analyzing and collecting automated test scripting data according to the project plan schedule, adhering to the standard practices and procedures. Served as a liaison between Agency and solution’s contract, V Group Inc. supported the client in planning, implementing, executing, and evaluating the NYS IES solution, keeping up to date with the latest know-how and trends.
