Overview
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission was created in 1937 to construct, finance, operate, and maintain the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The commission consists of five members. Four members are appointed by the Governor of Pennsylvania, while the fifth member is the Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation.
Project Scope
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) required a Project Management support expertise on various aspects including but not limited to business process analysis, management of processes for achieving desired business goals.
Solution
The objective of this project is to fill the business processes gaps in implementing Fleet Telematics and Electronic Handling of Invoices applications. To fill the gaps, the above Project was divided into several phases for getting a streamlined flow with comprehensive info to achieve the desired business results. V Group has successfully supported the department in this task by understanding the requirement in capturing the parameters. This project involved high-level technical knowledge of the applications and V Group Inc. delivered it successfully. Engagement of ongoing process improvement was also provided for improving business process efficiency and maintaining the health of different business operations.
With excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, we were able to process open incident tickets adhering to schedules and project timelines. Also, interpersonal skills were offered to check whether current processes are meeting their goals. In a dynamic team environment, comprehensive Business Requirement Documents with step-by-step processes were developed. Timely communication for issues impacting the end result was also provided.
For this project, V Group’s team has worked closely with the stakeholders to develop, review, and gain insights on complete Business Processes. With strategic planning, V Group Inc. acted as a liaison between the client's solution contract for maximizing business value. Proper verbal communication with the team members along with the multi-disciplinary efforts necessary to manage and coordinate the design and implementation enhanced the functioning providing a safe, reliable, customer-centric application/system.
An excellent team effort was offered for providing support to the technical team for technical needs. The work status was provided to the Team lead on a regular basis so that everyone was aware of the project ongoings to avoid any discrepancies then. Issues were identified and tracked with documented resolutions for the smooth functioning of the application. User Acceptance and QA plan approaches meant for implementation efforts were developed and maintained throughout.
