V Group’s Deliverables 

As a Prime service provider, V Group was responsible for the project deliverables, project management and coordinating between various groups and department of ACME to deliver the solutions. V Group has managed the projects of all the brand website migrations, design changes, and custom functionality development for ACME, each brand of ACME works as an independent unit and V Group has successfully managed concurrent projects effectively.

V Group has implemented the core principals of Project management in line with the guideline provided by Project Management Institute (PMU) by bringing our PMP qualified project managers. V Group has followed Agile Methodology and utilized Orange Scrum for project management and SVN for version management system to maintain the development process and provide the deliverables as per scheduled timelines.

The core deliverables of this project include:

 

Development & Migration:

  • website migration, version upgrade of the content management system, development of custom features and extensions.

 

Server Migration and Support:

  • Server migration from Microsoft Azure to Amazon AWS with auto-scaling and load balancing.
  • Installation and configuration of web server for UAT sites of Acme.
  • Deploy the Acme sites from Production to UAT web server.
  • Server Maintenance to monitor CPU utilization.
  • Install and configure the SSL certificates.
  • Optimize performance of the sites, web server and MySQL database.  
  • Perform caching, VM configuration and troubleshooting tasks.

Rectify and resolve the memory leakage issues and web vulnerabilities.

  • Identify and block IP addresses that causing increase in CPU utilization.

Mobile and Web app development:

  • Translate customer requirement specifications to software requirement specifications for FAO SafetyHub mobile app and its management portal.
  • Create flow diagram of the mobile app and management portal.
  • Create mock-ups/prototype of the app.
  • Development of FAO SafetyHub mobile app and management portal.
  • Submit app to iOS app store and Android Play store to publish.
  • Implement design for all brand sites and portals with responsive layout.

Custom extension/plugin development and implementation:

  • Configuration of custom extensions as per the requirement.
  • Development of custom extensions for custom features.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Design custom banners and perform UI changes.
  • Inventory updates.
  • Development of custom features.
  • Rectify and resolve the memory leakage issues and web vulnerabilities.
  • Identify and block IP addresses on daily basis that causing increase in CPU utilization.

 

Smart Cabinet implementation by using AI based Image Analysis: this is an ongoing task where V Group’s project and R&D team is working on building a proof of concept to automate the inventory management by tracking the product movement utilizing Image & Video analysis capability under AI.
