Overview
The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is the central support agency for the state judicial branch and provides a broad range of support services to Maryland’s courts in operations, information technology, management, legal, government relations, financial, administration, and programs.
Project Scope
The department was looking for a vendor to work with Linux operating systems, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The project had Linux management tools, with a focus on Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Tower. To successfully finish the project the vendor was required to have experience with VMware ESXi, VMware PKS/Tanzu/Pivotal OR similar Kubernetes based technology, Red Hat Single Sign-on OR Key cloak, and SAML/LDAP (ex. ADFS, Active Directory, Oracle Unified Directory, etc.)
Solution
V Group as a prime vendor is involved in building, maintaining, and updating Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtual machines running on VMware ESXi hosts. We Integrate Red Hat Linux virtual machines with identity management systems (i.e. Active Directory) and operating system management systems (i.e. Satellite). As a part of the deliverable, we also build Kubernetes clusters running on the VMware PKS platform and manage the VMware PKS environment, to include configuration and updating of Bosh, Operations Manager, and Harbor.
