Development Support and Enhancement for HCM, FI & SRM requirements, Miami-Dade County Public Schools

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is the fourth largest school district in the United States, comprised of 392 schools, 345,000 students, and over 40,000 employees. Located at the southern end of the Florida peninsula, the school district stretches over 2,000 square miles of diverse and vibrant communities ranging from rural and suburban to urban cities and municipalities. A truly global community, district students speak 56 different languages and represent 160 countries.
Project Scope
Miami-Dade County Public School required support on SAP ABAP Development with ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, ABAP enhancements, and forms. The school had its project implementation requirement around HCM development, SRM/FI development, ADOBE Forms, and Smartforms.
Solution
V Group in the capacity of a prime vendor worked upon several enhancements and developed forms/interfaces as per the requirements for HCM, FI, and SRM. The project scope included development in Advance Business Application Programming (ABAP), unit test, and documenting several business and technical processes.
V Group throughout the project was responsible for error resolution and functional specification inaccuracies. We tracked and reported every delay and a potential risk to ensure the successful delivery of the project. During the project, we adhered to ERP MDCPS standards. Our team documented change management flow and requirements as well as conducted knowledge transfer sessions with the appropriate M-DCPS staff to ensure a smooth handover.
